Are you looking to get fit this year? Do you want to get some exercise? Have you got a bike sitting in the garage that you keep saying you’re going to use but you think cycling’s not for you? If the answer is yes then why not get yourself along to the Highlands Hotel on Sunday 23rd March from 3pm-5pm where the Tirchonaill GAP Cycling Club will be hosting an information day on all aspects of cycling.
We are inviting everyone young or old no matter what your ability, whether you have been cycling 20 years or 20 minutes to come along and see the benefits and enjoyment that are to be had from cycling especially within the security of a cycling club.
We will have various stands available on the day where you can find information on Leisure Cycling, Mountain Biking, Road Racing & Time Trialling, Beginner Cyclists, Ladies Cycling, Training, Nutrition and Bike Maintenance. There will be numerous demonstrations, bike & clothing displays, and even some healthy food sampling. So if you’re totally new to cycling, need advice on fixing a puncture, want to ride the local trails or you just want to start making use of your bike in the friendly environment of a cycling club then you will find all the information you will need on the day. Admission to the event is free so don’t miss this chance to find out what you need to know to get the most out of the year ahead if you’re wanting to take up cycling as a hobby, exercise or fitness.
